Hot Pilates Teacher Training

We're proud to announce our next Hot Pilates Teacher Training led by our pilates queen Taryn Winters.

Designed for current yoga teachers, or related fitness professionals who are teaching in a similar modality, this 18-hour training is perfect for those interested in leading Hot Pilates classes at Heatwise.

Our Hot Pilates classes are mat-based and music-driven. The experience is low-impact with a concentration on core strength, alignment and stability. We incorporate props such as hand weights, resistance bands, non-weighted balls, sliders, rings, and of course your own bodyweight.

Like our Hot Yoga Feels Good™ classes, the Hot Pilates class is based on the creative expression of the teacher, leaving lots of room for thoughtful play and exploration within the pilates framework.

The training will take place over 6 days in November 2025, all at our Bowery studio. You will also be required to attend a minimum of 3 Hot Pilates classes during that time, which will count towards your hours and will be included in tuition.

  • Monday 11/3: 1:00-4:00pm
  • Tuesday 11/4: 1:30-3:30pm
  • Tuesday 11/11: 1:30-3:30pm
  • Thursday 11/13: 1:30-3:30pm
  • Monday 11/17: 1:00-4:00pm
  • Monday 11/24: 1:00-4:00pm

All sessions take place at Heatwise Bowery (274 Bowery)

TUITION, POLICIES & PREREQUISITES

Tuition: 
$870 tuition (discount for current Heatwise staff and Heatwise TT graduates)

Details:

  • Must be 18 years or older and in good physical condition
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience (yoga, pilates, or similar modality)
  • Attendance is required at all training sessions
  • All sessions will take place at Heatwise Bowery (274 Bowery)
  • Participation in training does not guarantee employment at Heatwise

More about Taryn Winters

Taryn is a former classically trained ballet dancer who received her Mat Pilates certificate with the Drexel Pilates Training Program, studying under the founder and master of the program, Jennifer Morley. Taryn has over a decade of pilates teaching experience. She also has certifications in group fitness, personal training, and barre.

Using her background in pilates, sculpt, and dance, Taryn has developed a class that is designed to move and challenge your body in a safe yet effective way, with a strong concentration on core, form and safety to build longer, leaner muscles all on your mat.
